A welcoming community outreach of hot nutritious soup with fresh rolls, tea/coffee/hot chocolate and assorted baked goods. Clothing is made available from the Pennywise Thrift Shop to those in need. The Sharing Place also provides take-out meals when available.
Every Wednesday 10:30 – 12 noon year-round. A donation of $1 or “Loonie” is greatly appreciated.
Soups and take out meals are prepared by volunteers in our certified parish kitchen. Teams of volunteers organize, prepare, serve and clean-up.
On occasion we also have local professions attend to provide information about local services, eg. diabetic clinics.
