Heritage Hangouts: The Art of Quilting

Looking for a fun, meaningful way to connect? Join us at the Simcoe County Museum for Heritage Hangouts, a relaxing and welcoming bi-weekly program designed for older adults experiencing dementia. The Simcoe County Quilt, Rug and Artisan Fair starts on Friday this week but before the festivities start, we have invited a special guest speaker! Linda Pierce from our Quilters’ guilds will be speaking with us about quilting and she will also be giving a demonstration.

Each session is unique; come for one or all four! Registration is free, so please register for as many sessions as you’d like. While participants engage, care partners are encouraged to take a break, enjoy the grounds, or connect with others nearby.
