Heritage Hangouts: Irish Roots

Looking for a fun, meaningful way to connect? Join us at the Simcoe County Museum for Heritage Hangouts, a relaxing and welcoming bi-weekly program designed for older adults experiencing dementia.

This week – Simcoe County’s Irish roots run deep, stretching back to the early 1800s. Step into that story as you roll up your sleeves to bake traditional treats, shape your own Celtic Knot keepsake, and explore how Irish communities helped shape both Canada and our region.

Each session is unique; come for one or all four! Registration is free, so please register for as many sessions as you’d like. While participants engage, care partners are encouraged to take a break, enjoy the grounds, or connect with others.
