Heritage Hangouts: Early Settler Experience Day

Looking for a fun, meaningful way to connect? Join us at the Simcoe County Museum for Heritage Hangouts, a relaxing and welcoming bi-weekly program designed for older adults experiencing dementia. This week we are experiencing what life was like as an early settler in Simcoe County. We will be churning butter, making candles as well as getting to do hands-on heritage tools and rope-making demonstrations.

Each session is unique; come for one or all four! Registration is free, so please register for as many sessions as you’d like. While participants engage, care partners are encouraged to take a break, enjoy the grounds, or connect with others nearby.
