Heritage Hangouts: Conservation and Preservation

Looking for a fun, meaningful way to connect? Join us at the Simcoe County Museum for Heritage Hangouts, a relaxing and welcoming bi-weekly program designed for older adults experiencing dementia. Do you have questions about conservation at museums or maybe even want to know more about how to preserve your own family heirlooms, join us for this special series with our collections team! If you are interested in attending feel free to bring in an item or photograph you would like to discuss preservation tactics for.

Each session is unique; come for one or all four! Registration is free, so please register for as many sessions as you’d like. While participants engage, care partners are encouraged to take a break, enjoy the grounds, or connect with others nearby.
