Join Concerts in Care Ontario for a virtual live musical performance designed to bring joy, comfort, and connection to older adults living in their own home who are experiencing dementia or frailty and their care partners.

Artist Bios

Mary Lou Sicoly is a Juno Award nominee and winner of CARAS (Juno) and TV Ontario music awards. She has been singing since she was a teenager, starting with her dad’s dance band in Sault Ste. Marie. Mary Lou sings jazz, classical, and world music. In 2022, she released her first jazz album, Lemon Meringue Pie, at the Jazz Bistro in Toronto. She performs across Ontario and the East Coast with her Musical Director John Ebata and her band, Mary Lou Sicoly & Friends.

Mike Cadó is a jazz guitarist, teacher, and composer. He studied music at York University and earned a Master’s Degree in Jazz Composition.
Mike has performed with many well-known jazz musicians and leads the Mike Cadó Tentet, a group that plays jazz in Toronto. He is Chair of the Music Department at York University, where he teaches and directs several jazz ensembles.

As always, participants can sign in 15 minutes prior to start time (2:30 pm).  CiCO will admit once the soundcheck has concluded.
