VON Simcoe County invites you to join the SMART program (Seniors Maintaining Active Roles Together) It’s a 45 minute low impact gentle exercise program specifically designed for adults 55+ to help build muscle strength, balance, endurance, flexibility and mobility. Please bring running shoes, a water bottle and an exercise band (available for purchase)
This program is free. Registration in advance is preferred.
Contact the Georgian Bay VON SMART office at 705-355-2200. Walk-ins also welcome but please come 15 minutes early to register in person.
This program will close for the summer and resume in the fall. The VON is offering pole walking in Heritage Park in Elmvale at the same time. Bring your poles if you have them.
