Whether you’re a history buff, a coffee enthusiast, looking for engaging chats — or all three! — your museum staff welcome you to Coffee & Conversation, where we’ll share a brief historical talk, provide hands-on artifacts and resources, and let the symposium begin! Surrounded by fascinating artifacts from New Tecumseth’s past, each gathering brings local history to life in a friendly and informal setting. Come for the coffee, stay for the conversation — we’d love to see you there. Happening on August 6th for FREE from 10:00 AM – 11:00 AM.

Step into the world of intrigue where nothing is as it seems. Join us for an immersive murder mystery experience filled with twists, turns and chilling surprises. Whether you’re a seasoned sleuth or a curious newcomer, you’ll work to crack the case, uncover clues and expose the culprit. Pizza dinner will be provided. The Museum on the Boyne is a community museum that represents the history of South Simcoe County. Exhibits highlight famous local Canadians, notable industries and unique artifacts from the area. On September 19th from 10:00 AM – 4:00 PM visit the museum for free and see what they have to offer; Our gallery showcases glimpses into bygone times through vignettes of local life. Celebrate the Indigenous heritage of our region, learn about local leaders and landmarks, take in the variety and beauty of Alliston Pottery (Maple Leaf Pottery), admire the work of local artists, and more!
