The IOOF Young at Heart Ride returns on Saturday, August 22, 2026, bringing riders together in support of local seniors and the future of long-term care in our community.

Hosted at Barrie Harley-Davidson, the Young at Heart Ride is a charity motorcycle event that combines a scenic group ride with connection, purpose, and giving back. Riders gather in the morning before setting out together, with the day centered around community spirit and support for an important cause.

Proceeds from the ride benefit IOOF Seniors Homes Inc. and its ongoing redevelopment campaign, a historic project focused on expanding and modernizing senior care in our region. This redevelopment will create additional long-term care beds, upgraded living spaces, modern equipment, private rooms, and increased square footage—ensuring seniors receive the care, comfort, and dignity they deserve.

When completed, the redevelopment will result in a 226-bed long-term care facility, strengthening local healthcare infrastructure and supporting families across the community for generations to come.

The Young at Heart Ride is about more than motorcycles—it’s about showing up for those who helped build our community and ensuring they are cared for well into the future. We’re proud to host and support this ride and grateful to every rider who participates in making a real difference.
